I have been eating here since I was very young an I love it the food is the best around an fast friendly service.

Great prices, wonderful staff and nice atmosphere. Food was rather average but the prices made it worth it

Pleasant atmosphere. Family oriented. Crowded, clean Decent comfort fare but "out" of many selections. Food we ordered was well.prepared

I had the seafood platter. Way more food than I could eat. It was good but not great. It was good enough that I would order it again. Good food, great staff. It's a win for me.

Service was good. Food was slightly warmer than room temperature. I was awakened with lower abdominal cramps that night and made a few trips to the toilet. If I was back in the area, I'm certain I wouldn't go back.....

They've got this monstrous half-pound burger that ROCKS. Even with bacon it's actually cheaper than a comparable sized burger at Hardee's or Wendy's. Try a dessert. Cordial staff.

We had the salmon patties with fried potatoes, beans, 🍲 an cornbread. 🧀 It was good. They atmosphere their is nice. We an a young guy waiter he was very polite. The 🍰 desserts 🥧 looked delicious but we didnt have room. Would definitely recommend if your in prestonsburg KY.🍗🥗

Had high hopes but was let down by pretty mediocre food at dinner. I tried their pork chop special with mashed potatoes and green beans and have to say (sadly) that I was just not impressed. The potatoes were powdered and the beans out of a can (the taste reminded me of school lunches of old). Pork chop was better, but still tough and chewy. Corn bread muffin was hard, stale and cold--would not even melt butter. Best part about the visit was the wait staff--very friendly and helpful, and the place was very busy. Would like to try other items on the menu but I'm in no rush to return.

This is a popular local diner. Food is good for the most part. Service can be slow at times. Checkout can be very slow.

This is the perfect hometown rest you expect to see in a quaint lil town. Perfect charm, listening to the servers talking to the locals while making you an outsider feel just the same. They all helped each other carry a large group of DAV members (who a lil boy said wow who are you the swat team) that brought a chuckle from the table of 50 and up men! And the food was just right goldilocks would of said!! We ooh and Ahmed over every plate. We will definitely be back because we cleaned our plates so well we didn't get to order the dessert. And that was the whole reason we went!! Daily specials plus all time specials while dinners for 7.99 WHAT that is almost fast food prices these days!! Next time we have our sites on the Hot Brown RB dinner and the Liver n Onions .... Thank you for the gem you have in Prestonburg, Ky.. dont change a thing!!!!

Stopped here on a business trip and the place was pretty busy. The waitress was friendly and took care of us but seemed to have one too many tables to wait on. The country fried steak tasted good but didn't come out hot only warm. The mustard greens were excellent as were the fried potatoes. Glad this restaurant was here and I didn't have to resort to fast food.

Listen. Make it your life's purpose to come and eat at Billy Ray's. Trust me, you'll thank me later. Home cooked meals, huge portions, extremely clean and friendly staff. Consistent every time we go there. Word to the wise, avoid the hot roast beef sandwich... You'll take to a life of crime to get more.

March 2018 we visited this area and found billy rays by accident and it was excellent. This time we went back and brought our friends and it was good but it seemed the portion were smaller and servers paid more attention to the other services than us. Food good

Great big restaurant with very great drinks with great little ice(or nugget ice) the place here is alot more brighter and has all kinds of things up like lighted plants, nice old stuff, very pretty picture atop if the room and bathroom hall ways. Also the food here is very good here as well! (b^v^)b

Very dissatisfied with the service and quality of the food. I looked so forward to going there for a whole year because I had such a good experience there last year and it was always a favorite place of my Dad's but a real let down this year! I don't think I will be returning!

Billy Ray's is an awesome place to visit the food and the atmosphere and the people were fantastic

In the beginning there was The Pool Room. A simple place with pool tables on the back and a hamburger grill up front. They sold hamburgers two ways, plain and mustard and onions. Billy Rays original restaurant bought the old restaurant and expanded on the offering and put in video games in the 90s. When the old building burnt down, the era ended. Fortunately Billy Rays the new restaurant pays homeage to the old, but embraces the new. The service is first class, the food is a solid offering of standard southern offerings. The atmosphere is top notch now far from the dingy pool room with the amazing burgers. If you order the hamburgers any other way than the originals you deserve the looks of derision from the older customers.

Wife liked the French toast. But both of our meals was cold. Coffee mite as well be hot brown water no taste. Should have just ate at the lodge at the state park. We had a great dinner there.

This is awesome restaurant. They have angels on earth working there. They make you feel like family. Fantastic food and staff. Highly highly recommend you go if in town.

We didn't know he owned it we were just looking for place to get a good home cooked breakfast, we are from out of town and hadn't had a really good meal in a couple days, Billy Ray's was awesome!! Very delicious and great prices. We will be back.

Looking for a diner not a franchise to try since we were just in from traveling all day. Definitely LOVED EVERYTHING!!!!! SERVICE FOOD AND VERY CLEAN DOWN HOME RESTAURANT!!!! A variety of something for everyone!!! Going for lunch tomorrow before heading home Saturday. Hubby had prime rib melts in your mouth and I had county fried steak so perfect!!! This is the place to go to in Prestonsburg Kentucky!!!! Thank you for our wonderful meals. (Actually there were 17 family members who came from out of state and didn't know where everyone was going and we all went in at same time not knowing and they were even accommadating made a sad gathering precious memories)

If you are looking for a nice family sit down restaurant in Prestonsburg with homecooked food and weekly specials, this is the place to go.

They have good food and a wonderful waitress named Marianne, she made us feel so very welcomed and she the best waitress we have ever had.

The Brown Golden Fish was dry and cold, the mash potatoes were dry even with white gravy on it and cold. The green beans was pole beans ,they were flat, but the roll was good. Left my meal on the table.

Located off the beaten track in downtown. Outdoor and indoor decor very tastefully done, and very inviting. The staff was overly friendly. The Breakfast was amazing and good side portions. Also very reasonably price...Highly Recommend!!!

Best place to eat in town and food is tremendous and service is awesome and not very expensive $$ kid and family friendly . Come on down and try it out... I guarantee you will come back as family. Steak tips and Chicken Stir fry is fantastic. Awesome atmosphere and free WiFi .
